For a special getaway, our 1892 Vermont inn is located in the historic village of Bellows Falls, and offers a relaxing and inviting trip back into time, with all the modern conveniences! We cook what is local and at its peak of freshness, and organic is always are first choice. Our eggs, butter, milk, bread, and most of our fruits and vegetables come from Vermont farms and bakeries. Breakfast might feature a cheese sampler plate, followed by blueberry pancakes, local bacon crisped with maple syrup, and heirloom blue and pink potatoes. Another day, you might get a beautiful poached pear with raspberry whipped cream, and a luscious specialty omelet with local handmade country sausage and corn fritters.
We have five guest rooms, most with fireplaces and whirlpool tubs, and five parlors and common rooms for your relaxation. Expect down comforters and vintage quilts, robes, turndown service, and lots of pampering. But if you want the present to creep in just a bit, we have flat-screen televisions and Bose radio/cd players in every room!
