There are several well-known music festivals that take place in Davenport every year including the Mississippi Valley Blues Festival, and the Beiderbecke Memorial Jazz Festival. Tourists can visit the Vander Veer Botanical Garden and Park, the Putnam Museum of History and Natural Science, and the Figge Art Museum or spend a Saturday night or Sunday afternoon listening to the classic strains of the Quad City Symphony Orchestra.
