The Deerfield Inn, one of the few original historic inns of New England, first opened its doors in July 1884. Today the Deerfield Inn still remains the centerpiece of Old Deerfield, an unspoiled 350-year old village and National Historic Landmark. We have 24 individual and lovely guest rooms of different sizes and types in two buildings, with many pleasing guest amenities. We have two living rooms with cozy nooks for relaxing, and afternoon tea and cookies for our house guests. Our convivial tavern with draft beers, 101 martinis and an excellent wine list is a great spot for a burger with beef from a Deerfield farm. Champney's, our restaurant, uses the finest and freshest area produce in its market driven menus. Beautifully decorated with attention to period detail and modern comfort, the Deerfield Inn is the perfect vantage point from which to visit and absorb the spirit and charm of this unique village with its museum houses, Flynt exhibition center, and self-guided Memorial Hall Museum, the oldest museum in New England.
