Situated in the heart of the Somerset Levels, we are ideally situated if you wish to explore the surrounding Wetlands and Moors. The RSPB and Natural England Reserves are within a 2 mile radius. The spectacular displays of roosting Starlings are there to see during the winter months and during the summer; there are other wildfowl and migrating birds to wonder at. The fascinating town of Glastonbury, the historic Cathedral City of Wells, Clark's Village at Street and Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole are within easy reach. The beautiful coasts of West Somerset and North Devon are only half an hour away in the car. We do offer the best of both worlds. All our rooms offer comfort and are en suite. The Four Poster and superior rooms have bath and shower and our standard rooms have showers only. Smoking is not permitted within the building; however we do offer facilities for smokers as we have a very pleasant garden and patio area. Meare Manor boasts of a special 4 Star Visit Britain breakfast award for their full English breakfast and we do cater for all types of diets. We do not have a restaurant but bar meals are available on request.
