Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is located 17 miles from the city of Guangzhou and is one of the newest airports in China. The airport opened in 2004 and millions of travelers from domestic and international destinations have passed through the terminal hall. Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is a moderate-sized airport with one Main Terminal hall and two concourses: Concourse A and B. Currently, the airport only has two runways. There are plans to construct a third runway in the near future.

Several major airline carriers serve Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. Additionally, airline passengers can enjoy non-stop service to a multitude of destinations. A hotel is conveniently located five minutes from the airport, which can accommodate airline passengers with long or overnight layovers. Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport also features a host of amenities and services such as on-site ATMs, children's playroom, five restaurants, coffee shops, retail shops, post office, business conference rooms, and first aid clinic. Retail shops include duty free shopping and offer a variety of items such as apparel, leather products, electronic devices, and cosmetics.

Main Terminal

Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport's Main Terminal features three levels. The lower level contains ground transportation, check-in, ticket counters, and baggage claim. The arrivals hall is located on the middle level and contains restaurants and retail shops. The upper level of the terminal hall is the departures hall and features both concourses. Concourse A contains gates A1 - A31; Concourse B contains gates B101 - B131.
