The Huron Event Center became a reality in the fall of 2005. Over the last few years, the Huron community has enjoyed some of the most vibrant economic events in its history. New businesses are booming. Spirits are high. Overall, life is good. So good, in fact, the townspeople decided to find a way to share the experience. In the end, everyone agreed that the best way to welcome others was to play host to them. So the folks that call Huron home voted – and in a landslide agreed to invest their own dollars in the creation of the Huron Event Center. In the Fall of 2004, just months after the historic referendum, the people of our community broke ground for the center - one of the region’s most remarkable places to convene. So now that the doors have officially opened, you can realize what really makes this venue so refreshingly different – the people behind it. In fact, the very people whose dreams and determination helped make the Huron Event Center a reality are now working to make your next meeting a memorable success. The new state-of-the-art facility features over 34,000 square feet of meeting space and the capacity to hold up to 1,200 people.
