Kauai Island Lihue Municipal is a modest airport situated just about two miles east of Lihue. Vacationers from all over the globe visit Kauai Island to enjoy the warm weather and exquisite beaches. The airport's main lobby features check-in counters, ticket lobby, security checkpoints, and baggage claim. Rental car booths are located across the street, and ground transportation is located outside the terminal hall (taxis, limousines, shuttles). A restaurants and variety of shops are located inside the terminal.
