Alexander-Withrow House was built in 1789 and is located in the center of downtown Lexington across from the McCampbell Inn on the cornet of Main and Washington Streets. McCampbell Inn located in downtown Lexington's Historic District was originally built by John McCampbell in 1809. John McCampbell built the center section as his home later it was expanded and lastly served as the Central Hotel. Now the gracious McCampbell Inn offers guests the choice of 14 individual rooms and two suites. Each is carefully furnished and includes wet bars and all modern conveniences.
