Optimal Hotel Son Burgués is a new four star rural hotel which is going to open its doors to guests on the 15th of July this year. From this date on, you will be able to enjoy a spectacular and unforgettable holiday in the Majorcan countryside. The hotel has a fabulous country location which includes 1.000.000 m2 of farmland. The hotel itself consists of a recently restored rural house which has 4 modular rooms for our guests. It boasts magnificent views of the Bonany Monastery, endless comfort and much more.
Another significant issue is the sustainable project run at the hotel. All the electricity used in the establishment is produced by solar energy; apart from that, the water used here is heated with solar panels too.
Surroundings and location
This unique rural house is situated in the charming and quiet village of Petra, Mallorca (Km. 9-10 of the San Juan – Petra road). Just a few kilometers away are the wineries which produce wine under the designation of origin Pla I Llevant, Majorcan wine which is renowned for its depth of flavor and quality. You can also visit the Bonany Monastery which is located inside an important protected natural area which you can access via beautiful pathways whilst enjoying the breathtaking views.
This area is also home to some of the best restaurants on the island. Feel and taste Majorca through its authentic traditional dishes.
