Welcome to The Kings Arms, MontacuteNestling in the shadows of the village church and literally just a stone's throw away from the National Trust's Montacute House, the 17th century Kings Arms Inn has an idyllic setting with a bar, lots of comfy sofas, a restaurant and 15 letting rooms.Steve and Sue are the new landlords at The Kings Arms Inn and are already making great improvements. Steve says The Kings Arms is rather an imposing building with a reputation for being a hotel. I am eager to ensure that we are seen as a Country Inn rather than just a hotel as this can sometimes put people off from just popping in but rest assured, everyone is welcome whether it's for morning coffee, a relaxing drink or to dine'. Steve has engaged the talents of an imaginative and passionate chef who has created some exciting new menus. The through restaurant with its polished tables and linen napkins can seat around 70 diners - it is relaxed and airy with exposed walls and a beautiful old fireplace with double aspect real fire. The Kings Arms Inn is open from 7.30am for breakfast. There is a dedicated meeting room available for business conferences - local clubs and organizations are also very welcome. Morning coffee is served with delicious homemade biscuits, just one of the personal touches that has been introduced and the welcoming lounge area with its soft leather sofas is the ideal place to relax. The Kings Arms is suitable for any occasion, from light lunches and business meetings through to celebration meals and wedding breakfasts. Steve and Sue and their team look forward to welcoming customers old and new and hope you enjoy the newly rebranded Kings Arms Inn at Montacute.
