Casa Mãe Lagos

First, the staff is incredibly helpful, smiling, efficient and cool. Thanks to all of them. The property is a well balanced mix of old and new : the old traditional Casa Mae itself and then a new built modernist 2 story house . In between is the large vegetable garden. Also we have appreciated that it is nestled in the old streets in a calm area but 5 mn walking distance to the center.

The mattress was a bit hard/firm to our taste

Absolutely loved the hotel staff and the hotel itself. Such a gem! The restaurant food was really good too, although somewhat overpriced. Amazing garden, interesting location right by the wall, nice simple spa. Would definitely book here again.

We were staying there off season, so getting good food was really difficult. We ended up eating at the hotel a lot, and the food there was truly delicious -- delicious enough to be pricey, but the price point still felt a bit too high. All said, we would book here again though.

Beautiful and thoughtful interior and really friendly staff. Food and drinks were delicious. Honestly we loved everything!

Breakfast portions were small, delicious but not very big. We are not big eaters, but like a proper start to a day full of activities.

The meals were so fresh and local from the garden. And quiet and clean property.
