Very clean and big room. Extremely big and good breakfast. Nice breakfast room with summer terrace. Very very friendly and pretty lady at reception! Thank you!
Breakfast was great, staff was very friendly and helpful.
Location was quite far out of town and not directly on any line of public transportation.
We stayed at this hotel for Oktoberfest 2010. It is a 10 minutes walk from Tram Bahn station, and then a 15 minutes ride to Munich city center. Our double room was very clean and comfortable, breakfast very good too. Internet worked fine. The only downside could be the location if you are walking( which we didn't mind), the hotel is located in a rural area and there is almost nothing between train stations and the place but it is secure, also city Bus stops right at front the Hotel every 20 minutes. In general it was a good experience.
Clean. Good breakfast - reasonably priced considering it was Octoberfest. Several very nice staff.
I felt they stuck it to us on the extra person 35 euro; EdelweiB Parkhotel didn't even provide an extra bed, and in the reservation the "extra bed" price is 20 euro. Not that there would have been room anyway because the room was so small. On a second note - and I do recommend this place, the front facing rooms get a surprising lot of road noise as it's located on the main through way in a quiet suburb area.
The courtesy and friendliness. Went out of the way to accomodate us to our full satisfaction. Indian restaurant Haveli next door.
There is no elevator.
helpful staff, good breakfast,
too far out of central city and convention center
clean and carm.
Front desk staff were very helpful.
A very minor detail, but in Europe many hotels do not use screens on their windows.
We were a family of five -- two parents traveling with three older children -- traveling into Munich from Dachau. We had a very hard time finding the hotel as it is situated in a residential area. When my reservations were confirmed, no directions to the hotel came with them, even though I had noted to the hotel that we would be driving from Dachau. Once at the hotel, we found the staff to be tight-lipped and uninformative unless we kept after them for information. The carpeting throughout the hotel (in hallways, up the stairs, and in the two rooms we had) was dirty, although the rooms themselves were pleasant. There was no elevator, and we were on the third floor. This was very awkward. Outside the back of the hotel, a construction project was under way. Fortunately, we arrived after the day's work had stopped, and we departed before it got under way. One plus about the hotel was its proximity to the electric train that ran into Munich. The closest stop was a 7-9 minute walk away.
We did not care for the dirty/worn carpets. We did not like hauling our luggage up the staris to the third floor. (There was no elevator.) We also thought it was very expensive compared to our other accomodations on our trip to Germany
