Central and friendly. Comfortable room. Decent shower.
The heating in the room wasn’t great and the rest of the hotel was like a sauna!

Extremely small room. Loud commercial air conditioning noise outside the building, in the courtyard.

I have stayed at The Hudson in the past. I like the location.
I do not like paying a mandatory facilities fee. It should be optional. I do not use the gym, WiFi, nor the lounge . The purpose of the hotel for myself is basically to have a place to spend the night. Now, that the hotel no longer has a restaurant nor a bar it is more like a hostel with small rooms. You no longer to get a free drink at the bar that was part of the facilities fee so basically I got nothing for $34.00.

the room set-up is ok for one person , but it was so run down and dirty.
terrible service from the stuff. I arrived at 2:30 am due to missed connection and had to spend the night in NYC. I waited for 35 minutes to check in... standing in the hall without even an offer to sit or a beverage. The stuff was rude, not efficient at all.
