There was no even a soap The only thing (from facilities) is a toilet paper.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Literally next door there is Harmony Restaurant with yummy food, much cheaper than in the centre of the island. During the night there was a guard outside the hostel and there is also CCTV on the street. Very safe place. I really liked the location - around the corner (literally!) is a path guiding you to the Viewpoints which are must see there. It's in a good walking distance from the centre of the island (10 minutes) with food and shops and close to the party beach and port. Besides some issues with the temperature inside the room I actually really liked the place, I'd was very cheap and nice and if you don't want to spend crazy money on the room with AC it's a good place to stay :)

When you're in Asia for a while your expectations for hostels are not high anymore, but there are some things that are a must if you want to sleep well at night. First room we have had offered had a blocked sink and the staff was happy to give us different room. I just want to point out that this is not AC equipped hostel. After that, we got the second room - which was on the first floor (meaning: second floor from the ground level), right under the roof. The roof got very hot during the day, so the fan was just blowing hot air around. We asked again for a change again and they gave us the room on the ground floor, which was a bit cooler. The thing is - some of the windows where on the side of the building where there was some kind of sewerage / drainage system and every now and then there was the SMELL. and let me remind you that we had fan, not the AC there. And if you decided to open the door to let the fresh air in, there was an army of mosquitoes waiting for you. Oh, and there was this disgusting centipede coming from inside the drains, and it's not something you want to step on while taking the shower
