Pool and indoor picnic area, except the hot tub was tepid and the floor needed cleaning. Main pool was a nice temperature. Inexpensive.

Unprofessional hand-lettered room numbers put up on cardboard, sticky sliding glass patio doors, dirty carpet and walls.

I liked the location and the hotel layout was very interesting. I very much liked the size of the room which was exceptional. The pool area is very nice and quite grand.

I was disappointed to discover that the hotel allows smoking in some areas and of course, despite their attempt to keep me distant, I could detect it. Even more disconcerting was the apparent lack of interest in details on cleanliness. I am not overly sensitive, but many people I know would not stay there. My room was fine, but the rest of the hotel felt very unkempt. The elevator was incredibly dirty - I wondered how long it had been since anyone had mopped the floor, even the walls were grimy and stained. I did not want to touch the handrail. This left me doubting the cleanliness of the rest of the hotel. For many of my business associates this would be a deal breaker. The breakfast appeared to have been hastily and thoughtlessly prepared. Boiled eggs that must have been a week old. The first morning there was no milk or cream for the already very bad coffee Loose the powdered creamer and put out milk or half and half. Powdered creamer screams "budget" - a very poor sign. Prepare better coffee - people expect it. All these unattended to details left the impression that the hotel was hanging on, or days away from going out of business.The room was very reasonably priced but I would have been happy to have paid more for the room if the hotel had been cleaner. Also..kill the smoking. Not acceptable.
