Overall - this is a good quality hotel with a very nice design in the common areas and the range of services is what you would expect from a 5 star hotel, without being outstanding in any particular area. The room was clean and spacious, with a large comfortable bed. Very clean bathroom. The breakfast provides a relatively large variety of food, of decent quality. Good coffee - coffee pods machines with several espresso choices. Fresh smoothies made to order. Underground parking next to the hotel - for an extra charge. Spa services of good quality. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Iberostar chain has a good app that helps with hotel interactions/ spa reservations as well as providing information on the hotel. Central location - close to several good quality restaurants in the area - you can pretty much everywhere from the hotel to the central area of the city. 15 min away by car from Las Teresitas beach.

WIFI - extremely bad internet connection in the room. Worked OK anywhere else apart from the room, where the WIFI signal was weak almost all the time/or just simply stopped. No plug available in the desk area to charge laptop. Furniture is a bit run down. Room was above the street where trash bins are stored. I slept with earplugs so I cannot comment on the amount of noise that might come from the manipulation of the trash bins in the morning. The opening hours of the gym - could benefit from earlier opening hours during the weekend. The Sauna and stream bath are located in the Spa area next to the gym - as a consequence - there is an extra change to use them if you would like that after a workout.

Excellent staff great location and good facilities

Having a city view room which was near the bins meant we were woken at 1.40 am when the bins were emptied -assume it’s the local authorities choice to empty the bins at that time but frustrating given how good the hotel is.

Nice pool area, a little chilly, easy to walk to shops and restaurants downtown. Good breakfast buffet.

Bathrooms are rather cramped, not all employees in restaurants speak English.
