They seemed like they could not be bothered with our problems. 2. Turkish airlines did not even bother to help with accommodations, instead giving my wife and I a small bed to sleep in vs a hotel room. The only way to get a hotel room was to leave the airport, and we could not get Visas because we were American citizens. Turkish airlines was a very bad experience. Overall this was a poor experience, and I will not fly Turkish Airlines again. I will make sure my friends and family know that this is a poor airline with poor customer service."

Miinukset: "I am an experienced traveler. I've been to 17 countries and have flown over a million miles in both business and coach. My wife encountered a problem in Istanbul that involved an airport transit visa through Canada. I am certain that any other airline we’ve ever flown would’ve assisted us, since it was easily resolved. To Turkish Airlines, this is simply a part of their business model and a chance to make more money. It took about 8 hours of our time at 5 different airport locations to eventually buy new tickets to get back the next day. Our original tickets say: “REISSUE With 200.00 USD penalty. What I didn’t see was the fine print at the bottom: “Turkish Airlines reserves the right to change rules regarding ticket changes and refunds.”. They mean it. As bad as our personal experience was, the real reason we are so appalled is that we were there long enough to see this is the norm for them. In our single day there, we saw at least 100 other travelers going through similar things. The ONLY solution ever offered is to purchase another ticket. We witnessed several people weeping. Many losing control and shouting. Their own personnel were screaming at customers (in a separate office area though, it was all yucks and laughing). These were people of all nationalities. Africans, Asians, Europeans. We were lucky because we had the means to purchase new tickets. Others clearly didn’t. I really don’t know what happened to some of them. One moment was very symbolic of the entire experience. Another vanquished traveler was paying $843 for a new ticket with cash. He handed her $845 but she, of course, had no change. Instead of the $5, he gave her two $1 bills. I had one in my pocket so gave it to her as well. She held my $1 bill up and pointed to the corner which had a very small piece torn off…no ink was missing…and sneered “I can’t accept this. She did this simply because she could. We were powerless. She knew it and reveled in it."

Cabin crew were in such hurry that they missed our row couple times. They served water only 4 times for 10 hours flight and refused to give a whole bottle for some bogus security concern."

They said because we didn't have a visa we couldnt leave the terminal they couldn't accommodate us outside the airport and the hotel inside the airport was fully booked. Spent the night in the airport in terrible seats were you couldn't even lie down, no sleep at all. Then the morning flight was delayed 3 hours. Got, finally to Spain and one luggage was missing. Overall a nightmare! Never again I will fly with Aeroflot!"

The plane economy class is really as uncomfortable as it gets for a transatlantic flight. There were no beer options for the flight (nor vodka which is weird), and flight attendants weren't that happy to talk to you in English. 5 hours wait at Moscow are the worst, if you're thinking on saving some dollars on a transatlantic flight this is not worth it."

Miinukset: "Brand new A350 but very cramped seats, it felt very claustrophic. Flew out on a 747 and had a lot of space - wonderful aircraft, flew back on A350 and it felt like flying Ryanair for 7 hours! I am only 5 feet 7 and my knees were close to the seat in front, I am not fat but the tray table was touching my stomach. I dread to think how anyone ate the food if they are 15 stone or more, I guess the table rest on the stomach and the food has to be held on.. The food wasn't good, I asked for a vegetarian meal but got bland vegan food - no cheese or dairy even though those are vegetarian. Next time I will not order a special meal and just get the standard vege meal and risk that they have one for me. Flight crew were OK, some of the instructions about electronic devices were garbled and unclear, especially about the use of laptops."

The flight was full, and some business class passengers moved to economy class, with some economy passengers being removed from the flight to free up essential "rest areas" for the crew."

The flight was delayed and although the first half an hour we had excellent service there was no follow up service and the temperature in the plane was really very uncomfortable"

Plussat: "Check in staff and Crew are brilliant. Always pleasant, friendly and helpful. Some aircraft are a little ‘tired’ and a few things don’t quite work as they should. For example my wife’s headphone socket was broken, and therefore no in flight entertainment. But we managed. It was reported to the crew and they immediately set about recording it for attention at next maintenance and changed our seats, so no complaints there. A few of the entertainment screens are scratched, and the controls faulty. But still usable with a little perseverance."

During the four hour flight there was no entertainment available, wi fi was expensive, and flight attendants were practically non existent. Water......, a plain bottle of water, cost $2.00! I had to beg for a paltry cup of water that supposedly came with my flight. Fly Dubai is nothing near the service and reputation of Emerites. Other connecting airlines to Nepal are much better."

They used an alternate credit card - not mine- to pay Fly Dubai which precluded me from getting a boarding pass, forcing me to purchase another ticket. The host asked if i wouldnt mind letting the family sit together.I accepted the request where upon the host suggested a middle seat which i rejeceted and notified him that he just passed by 8 empty seats in business class and since the doors were closed I knew were available. He denied the request, had me stand awkwardly while he checked other peoples tickets for 3 minutes to find a single person who was not seated in their middle seat and was forced to move whereupon i recieved dirty looks for the remainder of the flight and right through baggage claim at our destination. I did Flydubai a favor and gave up my seat for the woman and her family. A hassle free otherwise empty business class seat would have been the appropriate response."

It caused a great amount of stress to have to go through immigration, get my luggage, exchange money in order to pay for a taxi to get to the other terminal. I barely made my connection. I was not a happy customer yesterday."

The cabin stinks (due to the passengers), they generally don't listen to crew instructions, and it's the only place that every time you land there is someone who is standing up immediately after touchdown and the crew is yelling at them."
