We were crowded into a space that wouldn’t have accommodated a group half our size. Then we were criwded onto busses to stand and wait about 20 minutes while others cleared the five security screenings."

Miinukset: "Retrieving the electronic equipment was a chaotic nightmare. There was no order. There were two lines where passenger did line up in than others cut the line claiming they had connecting flights. Those in charge never verified whether they were connecting to another flight. Never asked for their boarding pass. I heard some laughing saying they did no have connecting flights. I better job and method of handling this situation is needed as long as the ban is in effect. Otherwise, Turkish airlines is fine. My wife and I have traveled most airlines and travel extensively. So, we are aware of good service and bad. Your service minus the electronic equipment is good."
Miinukset: "As opposed to our amazing flight from San Francisco to Istanbul, with incredible, caring and attentive crew, this flight was the opposite. The crew seemed annoyed by our few requests. I felt denied water and so, dehydrated. I counted one smile The entire flight. The crew seemed unhappy and wanted to do only the bare minimum. Disappointing, especially after such an incredibly positive experience six weeks ago."

If there were a lower rating than poor, the seats would have won it; Movies were among the worst ever. where do you get them?"

Miinukset: "Check in line took an hour. 3 clerks to process 3 hundred Economy passengers. Same problem at the other end. 3 Customs agents to process Hundreds of arriving passengers. These super jumbos overload the support systems at both ends. Economy seats are very close pitch and A/C is cranked up to high. Bring a thick coat."
Miinukset: "The flight left 19 minutes early, stranding 7 people who were connecting from New Orleans. We ran across the entire airport and made it to the gate before departure time. The employee at Lufthansa Senator lounge was nice enough to tell us that the crew must have felt like leaving early. She was very nonchalant about the whole issue. She also refused to assist us, and told us we needed to exit the airport and reenter through the ticketing counter. I upheld my end of the deal by reaching the gate in time. This situation needs to be rectified."

Miinukset: "When my flight out was canceled due to snow Lufthansa did not answer their phones despite hours of calling."
Miinukset: "My return travel was on lufthansa but due t delays in departing I missed my flight to the US. We were treated very poorly and slowly by service center representatives. The flight we missed was still at the gate but the door had closed. We were told the flight was oversold so it benefited the airline that we missed it. It’s muxh cheaper to put us in a horrible hotel with disgusting food and fly us out the next day, then pay people to choose a new flight. I had two small children at home and Diebel to this incompetence missed my 4 year olds birthday. He was devastated all thanks to your airline."

Miinukset: "The seats in the economy class are too small. Not once did I have someone sitting next to me who could actually fit in his seat. They weren't particularly large people, just average men but their arms were in my space all the time. Also if I drop something, I cannot pick it up, there's no room. For transatlantic flights the seats should be bigger."
Plussat: "They did it again, lost my bag for the emth time. But this time its seems to be more complicated than previous times this has happened. Just hope i’ll get my bag back eventually."

Miinukset: "My entertainment screen wasn't working at all from Washington DC to Munich! Also, I searched Lufthansa's website to order "Halal Food" but there was no option for it! I talked to one of the crew about it, she said that I needed to call to order in advance, but she was nice enough to offer vegetarian food as a substitute which was okay."
Plussat: "United airlines a319 was quite shakey felt uncomfortable whereas the Lufthansa connection with the a320 was way better only a bit shakey but felt comfortable and enjoyed the flight."
Miinukset: "United airlines connection was quite bad. Was 15 min late but didn't really mind it"
Plussat: "The boarding was fast and efficient, and the entertainment system was modern."
Miinukset: "The pilot didn't get us over the intercom even once. No communication at all from the cockpit. Staff was ok, but not very friendly. Seats were very close together in my row (30)… but other rows had seats with more legroom m."

Miinukset: "The person sitting next to me on my right side was disrespectful and putting his head and legs up on my seat even after I told him not to do that and even spoke with the flight attendant. I felt uncomfortable with his behavior and the way it was managed by just telling him not to do that. I asked for a different seat but wasn't moved. For the price I paid for the seat and his behavior of taking up my spot and the empty spot in between us (he took up 2 chairs because he was laying down to sleep) I was very disappointed and uncomfortable during the flight."

Miinukset: "Flight took after 1.5 hours delay , with 30 min incremental delay notifications. After take-off, food service started 2 or 2.5 hours later , they could have expdited it considering that the flight was delayed. Seats ,as I have come to expect from Lufthansa , were cramped laterally ,although i was pleasantly surprised with how much they reclined, given my low expectations. Main dish in the Food service was served hot but were quite minimal in taste/quantity & variety comapred to other inter-continental providers. I was feeling hungry most of the flight and couldnt sleep as well."

Miinukset: "Would have been nice to have an entertainment option, but I had a book, so the 2.5 hrs went fast enough."
Plussat: "Again, I appreciated the big meal, dinner, about 2 hours into the flight. Nice to have real metal utensils, not plasticware, to eat with. The 'snack' at the end of the flight was more of a throwaway:(pizza or) "Sausage": six one-inch hollow spheres of sausage with a hint of Dijon(?) sauce inside, all served with a mmedium-sized dry chewy roll. Nice to get wine, or maybe beer(?), with dinner at no extra charge, served from regular wine bottles, not individual-serving containers."
Miinukset: "The huge plane was completely full; no handy empty seat nearby to stretch out into. Took forever to board and exit the plane."
Plussat: "Everything was efficient and the somewhat long flight was easy because of food and entertainment. (Saw a really good Japanese film with subtitles)"
Miinukset: "Incorrect gate given for this flight, connecting flight was a little late. Everything was fairly quickly corrected."
Plussat: "The crew was very kind and made their beat efforts accommodate our requests or help us with the issues we experienced in our seats. I was also pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the food served during the flight."
Miinukset: "The entertainment system in my seat was not working. The crew was very helpful in terms of trying to fix the issue, but unfortunately the system was not fixed. The seats were difficult to push back. We tried several times to push back the seat for the passenger travelling with me, however the seat would not go as far as everyone else's. Unfortunately the flight was not as comfortable for her as it was for the rest of my party traveling with me. For such a large aircraft, Lufthansa should consider boarding economy by seat section. For example, starting with the persons who sit in the back first and then forward. It would speed up the boarding process and alleviate any lines in the aisles in the aircraft. Last but not least, my parties baggage was not transferred during our quick layover from Frankfurt to Krakow. Priority should be given to passengers whose final destination is not Frankfurt. We found out that our luggage's remained in Frankfurt when our names were called by baggage pickup in Krakow. The attendant who was helping us was very cold and treated us as of we were the ones who caused this inconvenience through his tone of voice, as well as his short comments. Lufthansa needs to work on their customer service in Krakow. We were rushed by the agent and it seemed like he wanted to get rid of us asap even though there was no line. We needed to understand where our baggage was and the options available to us, especially because our baggage was carrying important items for my sister in laws bacholerette party that night. We left not knowing when we were going to receive our luggage or if it would even make it to Krakow that night. We called the Number provided to us several times during the Day, however the line did not seem to be actively monitored by an individual. The website we were provided to track our luggage offered little to no insight on the whereabouts of our luggage. We finally found out that the luggage had arrived in Krakow and would be sent by carrier. The carrier arrived late in the evening, right before we were leaving for the bachelorette party thankfully. Better communication in these types of situations would greatly alleviate the stress one feels when their luggage is missing. Aldo surprised that the airline doesn't distribute a care package (I.e. toothbrush, paste, facewash) to passengers whose luggage was left behind."

Miinukset: "The seat pitch is inhumane. I could barely fit into the seat without hitting my knees on the seat in front. And that was before the person ahead of me reclined. It's not like Lufthansa is a budget airline. It's a full-fledged major carrier charging full-fledged prices. Seriously, I was expecting more."
