The property is exceptional in its concept. The rooms are generous and luxurious.

This is death by architecture. I love good design, but this is at times indulgence at the expense of the user. The scale is huge, doors are huge (try wrestling those MF when you have arms full of luggage). Most evident in reception where the two granite slabs of reception desk appear not to make provision for useful things like computers and printers. The printer was sitting on the floor, and the staff operated laptops on top of the granite slabs. Morning checkout was chaotic, with my pre-booked car not there. No staff to help carry bags up the crazy stairs, and I was left waiting in the outside porte coche in total darkness.
