La Magnanerie

“La Magnanerie was a delightful experience. Christelle was a very welcoming host and provided a home cooked breakfast with jams and delicious cake. The room was huge and tastefully decorated to match the ambience of the house. Very modern facilities and a great water pressure in the rain shower. The windows looked out onto the garden on two sides and you could see the vines growing in the distance. There are only 4 rooms here and you are treated as part of the family. Excellent location for visiting chateaux and next time we will stay for longer.”

“Beautiful house and grounds and our room was spacious and stylish. Breakfast was plentiful with a variety of local produce. We stayed for dinner on two evenings, enjoying delicious food cooked by the host, and it was a pleasure to share the large table with other guests and hear their travel stories. The host could not do enough to ensure our stay was good, with daily suggestions of where to visit and help to book a local restaurant. This is a very special place to stay and I would highly recommend it.”

“We stayed here on two occasions, for a total of three nights on our way to and from the south. The accommodation and breakfast were excellent and we also had dinner on the night we arrived, with three courses courses plus aperitifs: it was very enjoyable with all the guests sitting round one table. Christelle was very friendly and helped us to book a table at a restaurant in Chinon. It is very conveniently located for the autoroute and the vineyards and chateaux of this section of the Loire.”
