Joops City Centre Hotel

Hotellin sijainti oli erinomainen ja siellä oli ystävällinen henkilökunta. Huone oli siisti ja kerroksiin pääsi hissillä.

Ikkunasta avautuvasta näkymästä. Meille annettiin huone, josta näkyi ainoastaan kirkon tornin huippu. Suurimman osan näkymää peitti tiilikatto.

Big comfortable clean room right in the centre of haarlem for very reasonable price.

It was very very warm in the room, heating could do with being a little lower.

Good location in the city centre. The staff was helpful and recommended us a good restaurant for lunch. Also, they allowed us to store the luggage at the reception in a special guarded room (safe in our rented room didn’t work). Elevator and cameras at the facility, we felt safe. The room was warm and cozy. Amazing falafel place around the corner!

To pick up the keys, we needed to go to another hotel 2 streets away. It wasn’t a problem for us, but some guests might find it inconvenient. The room was rather clean, except that the small table in the room was dirty from previous customer’s food. However the sheets were clean and the bathroom as well. There was no kettle in the room. It was loud at night from the street side. However, it didn’t bother us, since we were going to bed very late as well. Very bad internet connection. We basically used our 4G packages instead, which is frustrating when you travel for business and need to work on your laptop. Safe didn’t work, therefore we had to leave our laptops and cameras “on our own risk” at the reception; it seemed like a safe option though, the staff at the (other) hotel was trustworthy. The breakfast was an option for 16€ (served at the other hotel) which is a very high price for a hostel of this standard. We ate out instead. A very drunk tourist in front of the hostel was standing in front of the hostel and when we came back he started nagging us for money to buy “tea”.
