Barceló Bávaro Beach - Adults only

Ruuat ja juomat oikein hyviä. Henkilökunta super ystävällistä ja ihanaa. Paikkana alue on todella kaunis ja puutarhat ja uima-altaat olivat hyvin pidettyjä. Kompleksi on valtava, joten valinnan varaa juoma ja ruokapaikoista on todella paljon.

Huoneet ovat kuitenkin aika perustasoa ja pieniä huomautuksia oli kuten huoneen verhot repsottivat, siisteys erityisesti huoneen suihkussa ja WC.ssä, töpselit olivat hieman riskaabelisti kiinni. Lisäksi WiFi:hän ei kuulu perushuoneen hintaan vaan maksaa huikeat 20 EUR päivä, muilla kun premium rannekkeella johon se kuuluu mukaan. Yhteys sikäli hyvä ja varmasi juuri tästä syystä ettei verkossa ole tuhansia ihmisä ilmaiseksi.. Kaiken ottaen huomioon basic hinnan hintalaatusuhde on melko yläkanttiin, mutta postikorttimaisemaa katsellessa sitä ei paljon harmita. One huge negative minus for the hotel! There is a man who walks around with a chained monkey on the hotel premises, apprently meant for tourists entertainment purposes for photos etc. He could not have gotten there from outside as the entire hotel is fenced off for entry and exit. The hotel clearly allows this to happen. This is truly disgusting and the poor animal was most obviously drugged and totally disoriented. For a big established hotel chain like Barcelo this is totally unacceptable and unethical to allow such a thing. I hope the management does something about it asap! if it wasn't for this, i would have visited this hotel chain's establishments also in the future - now definately will not.

the place is amazing, the view is great, the beach is great and there's a lot to do around the resort. Really nice walks on the alley ways there.

staff speaks English but not a lot, so more complex issues are hard to deal with - I was complaining about a hat having disappeared from our room and they were asking me where I was from (small talk). Had a ground floor room, really nice, but every time the room was cleaned, they left the balcony door unlocked - I'm guessing that's how the hat disappeared too. Also, the room could have been cleaner - the bathroom floor could have been cleaned more thoroughly, as well as the floor in the room - corners and cob webs on lamps were left untouched. So the cleaning process is basically just a superficial sweep of the room, details are forgotten - rarely cleaned (never during my stay). They like paperwork. I.e. Gift Shop at the Barcelo beach doesn't take cash. if you wish to pay cash, you go to the front desk, pay, get 2 sheets of paper, take them back to the gift shop and then you get your item(s). On the other hand, the gift shop at the Palace doesn't take cash at all and their POSs mostly don't work. It's really difficult to spend money at the hotel, other than the casino - there's it's easy. :) Second day we ordered a cab to go to the supermarket - on the way out, we were stopped at the resort gate for 10 mins, because they only had one person stay in the room, not two (even though both of us had signed in with the reception and had bracelets) They kept telling us it's a system error, but they didn't want to let us leave. No explanations other than that they were checking the system, very little to no English and in the end, when we started to ask questions about whether it was a possibility to not be left outside the resort, they got rude.
