Not sure the hotel is really designed for foreigners. Breakfast looked very poor so cancelled this and went to a local cafe (VII). What astounded me was that there was no safe in the room or available at reception so every time I went out I had to take a bag with my valuables - utterly ridiculous really. Reception staff struggled with English and with providing useful suggestions. It’s cheap so you can offset these grumbles against the price - I guess you get what you pay for.

The hotel is well positioned close to the University, close to Subway stations and within easy reach of Shenzhen Safari park. The hotel was reasonably clean. The room Seamed small but had a king sized bed, comfortable chairs and a table plus a desk. The Bathroom was clean and tidy and met all my expectations
Front desk staff with the exception of one young girl identity FO 28. Had no other language skills other than Chinese and even communicating via a translate app was met with indifference The breakfast was appalling both the Chinese and the Westen Dishes were poorly prepared and on display cold. The restaurant manager and staff were not interested in assisting or nay feddback

Convenient for the university campus, affordable, big and very clean room with a good shower and comfy bed.
Room phone didn't work to call reception to complain about very noisy neighbours at midnight. Thin walls meant I could hear them the whole night even though someone told them to be quiet.
