This a motel style hotel and parking is very limited. We had to make up parking spots.
The pool looked nice. Staff was friendly.
It was an outdated painted hotel. The Days inn across the street was nicer.
Decent and affordable place to stay
Room was clean, front desk was helpful when I needed assistance.
Was charged twice for my room, was told that it was due to "new staff members". Always frustrating when an almost $400 charge on your card takes a couple of weeks to get figured out and removed.
Syringe fell out of our bed
The receptionist was apologetic
We found a syringe in our bed. We were given an upgraded room, but I felt we should have had our room comped, as I've never been so grossed out, and it definitely ruined the mood of the romantic getaway I'd planned with my fiance. I barely slept thinking about whether there had been others we didn't see and if we had gotten accidentally stuck or something.
Stopped for 1 night while traveling through
Very clean. Respectful staff.
The breakfast gets 3 out of 5 for quality.
Quality Inn Biltmore East
The room was on the small side, but clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were great. Shower quite nice, good water pressure and temperature. Breakfast was good, coffee not bad at all for a hotel breakfast buffet. Very friendly staff offered us advice on what to see and do in Asheville. (They printed a map of the Asheville Urban Walking Trail for us, highly recommended for first-time visitors to AVL.) Was able to print boarding passes quickly and easily.
The pictures don't show this, but the hotel is located on a very busy intersection. There can be a lot of traffic noise. Our end room exposed it to that intersection, but we slept just fine. Soundproofing seems good. Fan unit was on most of the time, that no doubt helped. Only the occasional obnoxiously loud motorcycle could be heard. We slept well, and the location is convenient. About 10 minutes to downtown Asheville, easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We would use this hotel again.
Best inexpensive hotel around
The room was great, it was decorated nicely. The hotel pool looked wonderful but it was closed for season when we went. The shower was to die for and the breakfast had so many options. It was a wonderful place and I will be back.
A couple ice machines were out but that's pretty much it.
great value for the money
Comfortable bed, refrigerator, microwave and large shower area. All these items you usually pay more for. Nice breakfast next day.
Rooms were very nice and very clean
If you're sensitive to strong smells, go elsewhere
Upon entering the room, there was a strong scent of some kind of cleaning product. I imagine it wasn't a healthy brand, since my lips, throat, and lungs felt irritated soon after. We got another room that seemed better at first, but when we returned from dinner, the smell was there too. It seemed noticeable when the air conditioner was on, so perhaps they put some kind of "air freshener" or fragrance into the air conditioner. We left the door open until bedtime and turned off the air conditioner. If you're sensitive to strong smells, go elsewhere...
Easy access to interstate and less than 5 miles to either the Biltmore or Chimney Rock exits.
Older hotel but clean. Bed was a little lumpy.
