They cater to Chinese exclusively, everyone else is last. They do not tell you that their is a 3000 pesa per pound charge on all foods or drinks brought in untill after you have booked and paid for resort. That's even if you went to town for dinner and brought your leftovers back. You have to buy water every day after your one bottle of complimentary water. Beech is filthy and locals are using it with guards and employees watching. Rental boat and equipment dangerous unsafe Food in restranuat is cater to Chinese, every day at least 5-10 items on menu are not being served. Especially beef steak However the only good was clean pool and large pool. Clean and large rooms w balcony On a scale out of 10 , I rate this a 2.5
The pool area was very nice to be sure he was nice as well and the restaurant have a nice view.
I never had hot water in the bathroom I always had to cool for hot water, every time I got hot water it only lasted about an hour. There was also cockroaches in the room. And a lot of the facilities were under renovation.
The general working staff are very courteous and constantly help with the luggage. Nice balconies with some views. Pick. Up from. Airport. .
I hate to give bad reviews but when you spend your hard earned money to go on your honeymoon you expect to get your money's worth in Return. Upon check In we were told that we can't use the gym as it is under maintenance. We then took a walk to the spa and there was no one there it was closed and seemed deserted. When asking the front desk they said they had to call someone in within 1-2 hours. Kind of defeats the whole point of having a spa on your door step as you can also go out and get treatments done somewhere else. We mentioned these things to them and said we felt like the info and pictures advertising on Booking.com are very misleading as the pics advertised are very professional and do not depict the proper description of the rooms and the actual property. The manager told us they have nothing to do with booking.com and booking.com gives their own information and pictures, so it has nothing to do with them. We then had a broken shower. We spoke to the front desk about this and after arguing with us, they eventually confirmed the broken shower and apparently upgraded us. The shower in the new room worked well it just had no hot water and the shower head is so rusty it doesn't lock Into position. The aircon is really old and it makes such a loud noise, the other option is a blaring fan right on top of your face when you sleep. The "resort" seems as if it used to be great once upon a time but in my personal opinion I don't think this place should be running at all. It should be shut down until the correct amount of upgrading and ameneties can be improved. There is not a lot of food around to eat, but the food at the restaurant is really bad. One of the worst breakfasts we have ever had. It's very difficult to spend the day there and there is only one small pool and the food options are not that good and not very well priced either. The plugs by the kettle didn't work so we had to plug the kettle In on the floor.
