Apartamentos Los Tulipanes

We have stayed at Los Tulipanes over 10 visits now, so that speaks for itself! We love the location; within an easy walk of everything PDC has to offer....restaurants, cafes, beaches, shops etc During this stay we walked easily to Rancho Texas ... A 20/30 minute walk will get you to Lidl and a taxi back makes life easier. There are a choice of 2 Spar stores within a 10 minute walk and a small well stocked local supermarket, just at the bottom of the road. The bus stop on the main road, just 1 minute away is ideal for Arrecife, Costa Teguise or the airport and bus stops for Puerto Calero and Playa Blanca are just a 5/10 minute stroll. There are 2 swimming pools and a small pool for children, a pool table and cafe/bar; as well as reception. I have always found all the staff polite, friendly and helpful. Management always try to accommodate requests where possible, and email queries are replied to swiftly. They are on hand to arrange excursions and will book a taxi for you. The towels are regularly changed every 2/3 days and bed linen once a week. The cleaning ladies work very hard to clean through almost daily. We will continue to stay at Tulipanes; it's a firm favourite. Return visits are already booked!

On some occasions the bar is open very late, at times causing alot of late night noise; fine for us but this is a family apartment hotel, with guests from toddlers to pensioners. Some rooms are in need of some TLC....maybe some updated kitchen appliances, fridge and oven replacements. We did have a water drainage problem in the bath...it became blocked very quickly when taking showers, unfortunately this didn't improve. Pool view rooms have a dated bathroom compared to garden view rooms. However, repairs and general up keep of the property and pool areas is constantly attended by the onsite maintenance guys. They deal promptly to guest issues. All this said; Tulipanes easily meets it's rating and I still intend to return again and again because the positives far beat the negatives!
