    Very tranquil.The pool area was good for relaxation after golf or a days siteseeing . Covenient location for the town centre restaurants etc.

    Central location within the city.

    The swimming pool, when we arrived, was very cloudy and dirty due to what seemed a filtration problem. We did report the problem to the hotel but we were unable to use it during our stay which was very disappointing.

    Central location and good initial reception. Parking was easy. Splendid, delicious breakfast. Lovely outdoor pool.

    Twin room, wasn't offered a double. Internet connection was difficult to obtain and when available, couldn't access any web site. Air conditioning was too cold, so had to turn it off. Window in the bedroom wouldn't open. The lock around the bedroom door was damaged and suggested that someone had tried a forced entry at some point.

    this was a luxury stay in authentic impressive understated premises and fantastically located for when you wanted to step out of this chilled oasis and wander the streets.

The Pousada Convento de Tavira is located in the historic centre of Tavira. The Convento de Nossa Senhora da Graça da Ordem de Santo Agostinho from the 16th century was reconstructed, allowing the Pousada to be created. This hotel in Tavira is surrounded by a courtyard and sits just minutes on foot from the Roma Bridge over the Gilão River and only 15 minutes from the Ilha de Tavira beach.

During your stay, you can visit the garden, dine at the Mouraria restaurant, take a dip in the outdoor swimming pool and relax in the lounge chairs. The Pousada's cloisters are perfect for relaxing or reading a book if you wish. All rooms have views of the terraces or the garden and pool and have Wi-Fi.
