Insulted walls, heard people in the halls and room next door

We did not eat there.

We arrived early because we had an early flight. We had gotten up at 2 am and were exhausted. The lady at the desk said that we could not check in until 4. Our room wasn't ready. The place was empty and so were the surrounding hotels. There were about 6 cars in the parking lot so it was definitely not full. She took our mumber and said she would call when the room was ready, but she never called till after we went back to the hotel and my husband went in and asked if our room was ready. It was about 3:00. And she told him it wasn't ready yet. And as he was walking back to the car she called and said it was ready. The hotel was very nice other than the nasty woman at the front desk. That ruined the whole experience! My husband also asked if we could cancel the room when we first got there and she wouldn't let us check in. She told us if we canceled they would take the money we already paid for the room plus charge us an extra $25 on top of the $78 we had already paid. This is not a place that I would suggest to anyone if they don't want to be aggravated during their vacation, because it made the beginning of ours pretty miserable!
