Jurys Inn Newcastle Quayside

The room was basic , it was clean and fresh. The lovely gentleman on reception was very polite, a good representative for your hotel group.

The view from window was of staff car park, linen skips, buckets and waste ground. The bar staff were unfriendly and not helpful. They need to go back to diplomacy school to learn how to improve there people skills. The only time the bar man was friendly was when he announced last orders.

Room was comfortable

Hard pillows and a smallish bathroom.

The staff are all very friendly and professional. The hotel is in a perfect position for the sage and for crossing the Millennium Bridge to the Quayside.

The bar had no beer! only bottles of bud. A bit disappointing as we'd been to a show at the sage and didn't want to go back to the town. The tables hadn't been cleared in the bar either so we sat in reception with a coffee. It wouldn't put me off staying again, I'm sure it was an exception as we didn't have a problem last time we stayed.
