Starling Residence Geneve

Sijainti oli täydellinen. Todella siisti huone, kylpyhuone todella puhdas ja moderni. Tilava ja (lähes) kaikki tarvittavat keittiövälineet löytyivät. Hyvät kulkuyhteydet ja kaunista ja rauhallista seutua. Hotellissa on myös hissi. The location was perfect. The room was very neat, bathroom clean and modern. Spacious room with necessary utensils. Easy to get to. Beautiful and calm neighborhood. There's also a lift available.

Tiskit tuli itse pestä. Had to do my own dishes.

Stay in appartments from time to time. Always perfect stay. Close to center, train stop, supermarket

We chose this for two reasons, it was affordable and it seemed easy to get to from the railway station. We weren't disappointed on either point. It was a matter of coming out of the station, buying two tickets at the tram-stop (the machine takes cash and gives change - contrary to some reports you'll read) catching the no 15 and, when disembarked, crossing the road to arrive at the hotel. Easy! The receptionist was very welcoming and spoke good English. We were on the 7th floor which afforded better views of the mountains in the distance. The facilities were great - all seemed new, very clean and well considered, there was everything we needed. The 'dressing table' area had to double as the food prep area and dining table, but this wasn't an issue as we had a simple meal of spaghetti. Two chairs were thoughtfully provided (at last, a room where both occupants can sit on a chair!!). A local supermarket just a few metres down the road provided our supplies although they didn't sell alcohol, so had to visit the small local shop to buy a bottle. There was a supply of coffee / tea sachets at the hotel. We were advised in advance of some noise because of works taking place on the premises, but this was during the day when visitors would be out sight-seeing, so was not a problem

Hotel is kind of apart hotel, well equipped with house and kitchen stuff. Hotel is places next to city center but still in walk-able distance. As alternative hotel offer you free travel card working in whole city public transport.

I've used hotel few times, but during the summer air-conditioning appliance very little to noise. Last time I was in winter, I saw new devices in the rooms, but was no reason to test it;).
