You NEED to know what to expect

Overall a nice resort. Is great construction from 2009. was clearly a nice place in the early years and had/has great potential. seems it never got the usage/tourism they expected and therefore the property is clearly falling apart as a result of a lack of usage and the absence of a need to maintain it. Suite we stayed in was very big and has great patios. The 2 bedroom suite could easily sleep 10. It was so big the 4 of us couldnt really utilize all the space indoors or out.

There were 4 of us traveling for business. stayed in an ocean view suite. We saw 3-4 other guests over the course of a few days. No room cleaning service from day to day. service in the restaurant was limited/late/slow. had to negotiate/confirm with front desk over and over again that breakfast was included in our reservation, which was clearly marked on the reservation. workout room had water coming in and some black mold around the vents. had to obtain key from front desk to unlock the gym and was asked to lock it back (i.e. no service and clearly communicates the story - no usage). rooms lacked some expected items, namely coffee, trash bad in the kitchen trash can, umbrellas, etc. again this place has great potential, but it is clearly a dying resort. could be great, but presently you'd need to know what you're getting into to be ok with a stay here.
