Hotellista tilattiin meille taksi, ja kerrottiin hinnan olevan sovittu 51 €. Taksi oli hotellin edessä ja nappasi meidät, ja jouduimme pulittamaan yli 70 €, koska ko taksi ei ollutkaan hotellin sopimus taksi. Oli ollut siinä edessä kyttäämässä asiakkaita. Mielestämme hotellin olisi pitänyt ohjeistaa asiakkaansa paremmin, ja/ tai ajaa asiattomat taksit pois hotellin edestä.

The front of the hotel faces a nice open square with neatly built shops , resturants and coffee shops on the sides. Small 3 levels shopping mall on the corner.. Although very crowded but very quite and calm at night time. The breakfast area is the best experience ever , relaxing spacious with glass sun roof . Good vriety of food.
The room was too far from the lobby. The room was too small . The view was facing the dark roofs of the buildings in the back. The receptionist were very formal .The smiles were too fake and too conservative. Not as genuine or as generous as it should be. Very politically and politely discriminative. The area can be very crowded in the afrernoon and the evenings. Not good for conservative families. The area is very flat with no overlooks or distance views. Can get very rainy and very cold suddenly. Too many bicyclists, can get hit and run over easily.

- Clean, neat, spacious and modern room. - Coffee machine in room, fridge, mini-bar. - Bathrobes, Bathtub. - Check in and check out was fast. - Staff is very helpful. - Ms. Sophie from guest relations made our journey she knew that my wife was just pregnant and it’s our 1st baby so she was kind enough to come to our room with a present and a nice gift card, which is much appreciated. - Would definitely stay there again when next time in Amsterdam, it’s worth it.

we traveled with Amawaterway and we were very happy with every aspect of our trip. We found all the staff we interacted with very friendly and helpful. The food at the hotel was excellent and the breakfast buffet was amazing.

I'm rather often in Amsterdam, both for work and pleasure and always prefer to stay in this hotel. Perfect location for both both touristic and business trips - close to the Central railway station and at the same time in the middle of historic, cultural and shopping center. Breakfast can easy satisfy any preferences.
