Breakfast was exquisite, great selection of high quality food. Location is perfect, just on top of Old Town, on a tram line, both central and quiet and the same time, in a picturesque street. The hotel's design is minimalistic, smart and neat. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
There is no parking on the premises, but the hotel has a valet service that will take care of stowing your car. Really hard to find anything to complain about.

The hotel upgraded us, which was a very nice (although probably just lucky) touch. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and spoke a perfect english. The structure is beautiful.
The only downside is that the building is old and there are no elevators/lifts.

Breakfast was excellent, and the staff in the breakfast room very friendly and helpful. Also the reception staff was great, they helped us with the lugage, since the hotel does not have lift
For the price we payed, I would expect a bigger room.

Complimentary water, tea and coffee in the room. On check in a free Basel card is received which is really useful as it provides 50% off entry into main attractions and free public transport! The staff were friendly and helpful.
Small room with scuffs and marks on the wall and furniture. Fridge in the room smelt and there was a sewage smell from the bathroom which only went following airing of the room. The breakfast was not good with a limited selection of options.
