Metropol Hostel Berlin

The location of the hostel was good and it wasn't even far from the main parts of the city in walking distance. The breakfast was rich and satisfying enough to give a fair boost of energy for the day.

The room we stayed in was smelling like sweat. Don't think it went through a proper cleaning process in some time. Our bads were without bed sheets on them, although we were told that they should've been ready for us on our arrival. We had to sort that out for ourselves. Also, the light in the room was disturbingly weak.

Breakfast

The room was okay, but during the night it was very noisy. It was like some people were jumping over the roof. And during my staying the didn't do the bathroom.

Good location.

Prices on booking.com is not the same as at hotel. Linen costs 4 euro instead of 2.5 on booking.com. I've asked for changing room and got OK by e-mail. I even paid more for it. But wile I was staying at hotel they asked me to pay more!!!

i liked the plp who work there, the area.

the room wasnt clean, alivator didnt work and we got room at 4 floor.

Everything was easy. Leaving my luggage there before check-in for example. And staff was really nice.

Thin door and all the loud from the corridor. Better door would fix it I think.

I liked that they had 24 hour staff that was pretty helpful. I also liked the location, it was right in front of the s-bahn. It also had a very good currywurst place right next to it and a karoke place right behind it.

We had four flights of stairs to climb and there was no elevator. The internet did not work in the rooms, you had to go down to the hostel lounge area.
