Cape Rey Carlsbad Beach, a Hilton Resort and Spa

The balcony view of the ocean was nice but the road in front of the view was busy at most times and traffic was loud. The room was a good size. Bathroom and shower was great. Generally clean. Room service was phenomenal and staff was super nice and friendly.

Walls were paper thin. We could hear everything the people next room over we’re saying. What i thought were closets to hang clothes were locked so no hanging space? The fridge was leaking when we walked in, because the ice inside was defrosting so part of the floor was soaked. It was late and we didn’t want to have to switch rooms so we cleaned things up ourselves. The heater was the loudest thing I’ve ever heard so we didn’t even use it and just stayed cold. The pillows and blankets had an old smell to them. Made me concerned about the cleanliness of the bed and room.
