The location was about the only thing going for this place.
Cleanliness. We found BED BUGS! My husband was literally bitten 90+ times. Needless to say, we cut our stay short and left the hotel! Never again!

Very good location, 10 min walk to Damascus Gate. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony, which was very confortable and had a wonderful view, although the balcony is too small for 3 people. Varied and rich breakfast and welcoming staff. We took a 3 hour trip to the Dead Sea, with the hotel’s driver, Amer, and it was a very nice and confortable ride
A bit dated hotel, cleaning service could have been better. The second day I found my pijama thrown on the desk, dirty coffee mugs and no refill for the coffee in the room. At a 300 $ a night room, this is inacceptabile. Food and beverages at the bar overpriced, compared to other restaurants and hotels in the area. (We stayed an extra night at a different hotel). Although they say you can make international calls from the room, it was not possible throughout our entire stay, despite the fact that we reported the problem from the day we arrived

Convenient location.
Outrageously rude and ignorant staff. We have stayed in many hotels around the world, and in Israel, and I can honestly say that I have never encountered hotel staff who are as rude and generally unhelpful as those we encountered this week at the Leonardo Hotel Jerusalem. The consistently belligerent attitude we experienced among most (not all) of your staff was staggering and appalling. They made us feel as if anything we asked (e.g, a drink from the bar, a bowl of nuts, looking after our luggage after checking out) was an enormous inconvenience. Sometimes, our requests were completely ignored. When we did get a response, staff made us feel like they were doing us a huge favour and that our request was a great inconvenience to them. In summary, your rude, lazy staff ruined our stay. Needless to say, we will never be staying at the Leonardo Hotel Jerusalem again, and frankly, I do not understand how they manage to stay in business. A hideous experience.
