The service was wonderful at all times of day. Very friendly and helpful. This was our 4th time (we think) staying at this hotel so we've obviously loved the place: this was the best service of all. The location is unbeatable for us, based on the places we visit when we are in town. The common areas were recently remodeled and it is absolutely delightful. But the service has to get all the praise: fun, chatty, sympathetic, resourceful. When we had the one cleanliness issue + a dead light bulb, we mentioned it once and it was addressed within minutes.
The viennoiseries were a bit disappointing. Being French-born and raised, I am picky about my croissants and only eat them in France, although I have lived abroad for over 30 years. These were not "bad" but were not flaky or tasty.

Center of just about everything, great for walking and being a pedestrian. If you really need your car inside the hotel go somewhere else. I love not having a car so it is ideal for being close to all the public transportation (+shuttle from airport) and all the shops and restaurants. Who needs a car anyway ?
