bed was nice, Staff friendly
room furnishings grotty. Hotel is on a freeway - so constant traffic noise and windows not double glazed, wifi didn't work
Nothing really. I got woken up at 6am from the loud taps running in the next room. I also called after my stay to complain about how bad the parking facility is. For $20 a night to park your car in such a tight car park is ridiculous and an absolute rip off. I had people helping me get in and out of the car park. I also have a hire car that is now completely scratched from someone obviously having trouble parking there car too. I also have never scratched a car in my life and getting out of that car park was un avoidable to not knock into a pole or the wall or even another car. I called about this to complain and whoever was the manager on duty on sunday 28th nov got my details and said someone would call me on Monday and I still have thing
Location to a concert at kings park was excelent also walking distant to city shops
Tha lack of parking should be addressed
Bar meals AAA+ Staff Terrific
For a 24 hr hotel the very 1st greeting was! Felt like you should be some where else not very warm welcome after 6 hrs of traveling or any hrs of traveling Breakfast slightly to dear.
I liked the area - Mount Street, being very close to Kings Park, the city, the freeway, walks, and the hotel itself - the layout, 'the feel' of the place - which was comfortable, clean, warm, friendly, bright.
Couldn't get the TV to work even after the maintenance person had been in, but sure it would have been if I had pursued it.
The location is superb, the reception / front of house worked well, as did daily cleaning service (mostly), however bar / restaurant staff were overly familar with some guests and having them eat dinner at the bar is probably not a good look.
The hotel is tired and in need of a spring clean - - low levels of mould in the bathroom, missing light fitting, curtains that don't quite fit the windows, broken mirror in common areas, all of which is dissappointing as the location is fantastic and most staff work well to make stay enjoyable
When we arrived and found that The Marque was on the Freeway we were a little concerned but once we settled into our room...401... we were very comfortable and appreciated the view... especially as I had 2 wisdom teeth out on the Friday and felt miserable... The king size bed was a great... thankyou... Jon has been in touch I think about a watch and now an old leather watch band that we think we may of left behind in our room or even fallen out in the carpark.. we parked in No10 and 17 bays...both items are sentimental.. the watch was from Vietnam when he served there...would appreciate it if someone could check this out please... thankyou... Maryellen...
The undercover parking for us was a slight problem. The parking bays were very tight fitting.
localitiy to centre perth
I felt the hotel was in a quiet location only a short walk to the main shopping centre. Generally all facilities within the hotel were satisfactory.
The catering for breakfast particularly when a few guests were in the restuarant left a little to be desired.
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. TV programs were all good to watch. Location was close to anything in the city, the Jetty for ferry rides, and not far from train/bus station. Good value.
bathrooms need renovating, dark rooms, poor layout for the space
