Huoneemme oli iso ja säilytystilaa paljon. Kaikki huoneet ovat hieman eri kokoisia ja mallisia, joten on hieman tuurista kiinni minkälaisen saa. Tilat olivat siistit ja viihtyisät, mukava ja yksinkertainen sisustus. Patja oli oikein hyvä. Henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Aamupalatarjonta oli suppeahko, mutta koostui paikallisista tuotteista. Sijainti ei voisi mitenkään olla parempi.
Aamiaisella ei ollut mitään vaihtelua viikon aikana. Hotellissa tehtiin remonttia ja meteli oli kova, onneksi kuitenkin vain päiväsaikaan.

The hotel is in an excellent location. Great restaurants, cafes and sites very close by. It was a quick taxi ride over from the airport and very close to the historic center. It is also next door to a fabulous restaurant, Casa da Rosa. The room was big and the bathroom had a great shower head. The check-in and -out process was quick, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room, mostly just to sleep in while we explored the city.
There was no air conditioning in the room, which is the norm for the area and I understood that. But there wasn't a screen on the window, so leaving it open began a problem with bugs. So it did get hot in the room.

Late check-in quite fast and, knowing we'd leave the very Next morning, they offered straight away to book us a taxi. Room super clean, good breakfast...a nice place to stay for sure

I am always happy to stay at and satisfied with the services of Sr. Pedro and his staff. Your receptionist, JORGE, was pleasant, organized and efficient in checking me in and with helping me with a booking for next year for 8 friends and three rooms for next July 2020. I am always happy to stay at Hotel Alcides and like the new renovations to the hotel. Thank you. Fernando Saldanha.
