Not worth the money, but clean
Although I was first sent to a room that was actually occupied (I think the person jumped into the bathroom when I entered!) when I was assigned a second room, it was very clean. I am very picky about that so I was impressed. The room was very clean but the lobby and hallways smelled like exhaust.
I was initially sent to a room that was occupied! I thought the "Do not disturb" on the door was a mistake since I had a key for the room...but when I opened it, the bed was open and there was a drink on the table. I think the person had jumped into the bathroom when i opened the door. I ran quickly back to the lobby. No internet!!!!! I had wi-fi in the evening and then when I returned from dinner to book the rest of my travels it was gone. Reception told me to use the public computer in the lobby instead which angered me. At least they do have that as a backup but for the amount I paid for the room they should have wi-fi as advertised. The lobby and hallways were full of exhaust fumes it seems like. I avoided using the AC just because it would move the stinky air into my room. I opened the windows instead. The room service menu is very scanty and what they do have is not good. I ordered a sandwhich, pretty gross but did the job. I set it in the hallways when I was done and within minutes I noticed it was covered in ants. That being said, the room and bathroom was very clean.
There is no restaurant or any other type of facilities. Room noise isolation was terrible - I could hear very clearly how people next door were whispering. It's more like a 2 star hotel....
Wifi in the whole hotel, sunny, bright, clean, reasonably large room with a great view of the Plaza D'Espagna.
Location was a fair walk from the centre of Sevilla.
About a mile from city center. Good value
The room was a bit warm adn air con did not seem to work
The hotel is close to all interesting sights. The stuff is very kind. The room is o.k.
The parking (on the site) is expensive.
The hotel does not meet any of the above classifications- you did not have a category match. Location is in a quiet semi commercial street- no restaurants or other facilities near- overall bad. Staff spoke not one word of english and were not interested in answering your questions- except "rat tat tat" in spanish. They would not order a taxi for us- instead we waited & waited outside hotel & finally walked over the road to another street, where some workers helped us. We moved after 1 night to an absolutely delightful hotel Ferdinand III (from memory) in a top location near cathedral. Hotel & facilities were very good. Room had a balcony overlooking lovely narrow streets and an open air restaurant. Staff were very friendly English speaking.
The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful particularly as my Spanish is very limited
The mattresses on the beds in my twin room were a bit hard and took time to get used to.
It was a very friendly quite hotel with plenty of sightseeing near by
The bar was only open in the evening from 6pm untill 11pm. Think it needs to be open later.
No, Grubby. Dated. Not pleasant. Staff were nice but I felt short changed. 4 Stars unwarranted.
Grubbiness. I felt like I was on teh set of a bad 1970s B movie.
gym was closed - the only reason we chose the hotel
Staff were friendly and always tried to communicate with me in English. Hotel was easy to find and was right near Plaza de Espana (with view from room). Room was quiet and comfortable. Very pleased.
