Perfect location, staff speaks good English, was helpful as long as they didn't have to fix the broken internet.
No internet. It was advertised, but it never worked. And the staff admitted the problem but never addressed it. I stayed four night and had to check email across town.
I was informed about parking fee only at checkout.

Perfectly located for walking to all the main sites, and in the evening close to bars and restaurants. Staff were very helpful, worth paying a little extra for a luxury room.
The biggest advantage of this hotel is its position at the very center of Sofia with shops, restaurants, cinemas, theatres and various adminisrative buildings being within a walking distance. The staff is polite and professional. My room which faced an inside yard was very quiet despite the fact that the hotel is situated on a busy street. Although my room had perfectly preserved the flair of bulgarian interiors before the changes in 1989, it was clean.
The carpet in my room definately needed to be replaced by a new one (I suppose it has not beed changed in the last 25 years). As my room was situated close to the elevator, I could hear the noice of the elevator each time somebody used it.
The hotel is in the very center of the city. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. Although my reservation was for an ordinary room, I was pleasantly surprised by the luxury rooms that are available in the hotel. The price is more than good for the standard that is offered.

charged extra for use of an iron, the staff on the desk were quite surly and accused us of drinking from the mini bar when we hadn't touched it.
Very old hotel, past its best! Very old furniture in the room. Broken toilets. Staff not very helpfull and do not speak good English. Breakfast very bad like in most hotels in Bulgaria. Other than its great location, nothing is good about this hotel! To avoid if you're travelling with your girlfriend or your spouse! Believe me!
Old windows, old rooms, old everything and ready to collapse. Bathroom toilet was on the move: it wasn't attached to the floor. Bathroom doors moisterised. A terrible smell was continuisly around. I have chosen that hotel for the wirelless internet and the reception inform me that "we have a problem with the internet"
