The Running Horse

I have stayed here several times and have always had a comfortable and quiet night. The rooms are set around a garden with independent access to each. I do normally stay here in autumn/winter, however, when there are no people sitting outside until late. The food is excellent and good value and the staff have always been helpful. It is a country pub and has a beautiful location not far from Winchester.

Chose this hotel as it had a reasonably priced room for 4. Room spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast good and staff helpful.

Friendly welcome and comfortable rooms (which are much better inside that they might appear from the outside!). Food is excellent although this is reflected in the price.

Disappointing that no food available after 2pm until the evening session, so hotel guests arriving throughout the day aren't able to get even a sandwich.
