Maybe our fault, but it was confusing to find the hostel, because just before the sign of the place, there is another hostel, just next door. We wasted some time until we found out where we are. We got the room just buy the roof with no conditioning or even a fan. It was super hot and difficult to sleep. Window was to the side of the street, which was very busy and noisy at the night time and in the morning even more. The bed had synthetic bed sheets! Maybe not the fault of the hostel, but at the night time there was some incident between the guests which almost didn't finish with the fight. I didn't hear any of the hostel staff coming and calming down the guys, so it wasn't a very safe stay.

The staff was very friendly and helpful with our requests. We liked the authentic style of the house, its nice atmosphere and close proximity to the city center of Braga. We booked the whole hostel for family and friends and it was perfect for our group for outstanding price. Staff was on the phone and we had complete privacy (our review could be different if we took only one room and share the property with random travelers). The hostel was clean and tidy. We appreciated the garden with place to sit and chat outside. We enjoyed the grill and shared kitchen and dining room where we could sit together in the evenings. Big plus was that most of the time It was possible to find a parking place free of charge close to the hostel.

Cute hostel close to the bus station and a good grocery store. Enjoyed the garden and kitchen. Great value for the cost!
Kitchen needs more utensils and the trash piled up a lot.
