Hotel Bracara Augusta

Hotellin henkilökunta oli erittäin avuliasta ja palvelualtista; jos aamupalaa ei jostain syystä ehtinyt syödä esim. aikaisen lähdön takia, he valmistivat huoneen jokaiselle asukkaalle pussiaamiaisen reissua varten. Respa varmisti heti tullessa, että tiedämme, missä hotelli sijaitsee ja minne ehdottomasti kannattaa mennä ja miten niihin pääsee. Huone oli aina siisti, ja huonepalvelu erittäin ripeää. ----- The hotel staff was extremely helpful and ready to help; if you didn't have time to eat breakfast at the hotel due to eg. an early start, they would prepare a boxed breakfast you could eat on the go. Upon arrival, the receptionists made sure we knew where we were and where we should go. The room service was quick and rooms tidy.

Hotellissa oli hieman hitaat hissit, jotka tapasivat hidastella lisää, kun hotelli oli täynnä ja ihmiset lähtivät aamupalan jälkeen kaupungille. ----- The lifts were slightly slow, and they became even more slow when the hotel was full and everyone tried to go outside after breakfast.

Hyvä sijainti, ystävällinen henkilökunta, erinomainen ravintola (illallinen). Rakennus on varsin hieno. Huoneemme oli kuitenkin varsin perustasoa, mutta erittäin siisti ja toimiva. Suosittelen.

A professionally run hotel in a historical building; tastefully converted. A friendly welcomed from all staff. The rooms are light comfortable, and warm - with a welcoming pack of fruit and mineral water on arrival. Well stocked mini bar. The location is very central and the restaurant is very good. Breakfast is fantastic, caters for all tastes and even offers soya milk! Intensive positive experience for a short stay.

This is a minor point: The furniture fittings are due for a refurb soon; but the bathroom fittings and fixtures were very effective and stylish. The restaurant could offer more vegetarian options.
