It's Pretty Nice To Be Off The Interstate East of Hudson / Duchess Cty
The location is pretty good when it's just off I-84. It's close to some shopping and it gets you that night's rest. It's also close to Beacon, a pretty good town with small businesses, hidden gems and local culture/art.
The bathtub felt weird... as if there was a memory foam-like substance below the floor. Huge lack of power outlets (only two usable by guests... and some plugs won't stick, so enjoy using a laptop, which chargers usually have two prongs and not three.)
If you don't mind walking through a parking lot filled with condom box
Filled with prostitutes
If no other room available at another motel sleep in your car.
Bed & pillows better than some other places I've stayed. Shocker!
Everything else was disgusting and old. Staff except for a cleaning staff woman I think named Rochelle was not at all professional or helpful. Very poor communication. Manager didn't know what she was doing. Room was terrible. I didn't rate what type of motel this was because none of the above choices fit. I'd call it "the no-tell motel" They should charge by the hour if you know what I mean.
THE LOCATION WAS CONVENIENT
THERE WAS FRESH BLOOD ON THE SHEETS AND MATTRESS PAD OF ONE OF THE BEDS IN MY ROOM. HOUSEKEEPING WAS VERY GOOD ABOUT IT BUT IT NEVER SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED. THERE WERE NO BATH TOWELS AVAILABLE FOR 2 OUT OF THE 3 DAYS I WAS THERE. POOL CLOSED AT 8:00 AND WE WERE TOLD IT WAS DUE TO NO POOL LIGHTS, IT STAYS LIGHT OUT UNTIL APPROXIMATELY 9:00. WE WERE IN TOWN FOR A SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT AND IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE FOR THE KIDS TO BE ABLE TO USE THE POOL WHEN WE GOT BACK TO THE HOTEL. OUTSIDE DOORS SHOULD BE LOCKED AT ALL TIMES FOR SECURITY PURPOSES AND ALMOST NONE OF THEM LOCKED.
Spend a couple extra dollars and stay at a place t
close to highway, price
Toilet was dirty Rooms were not cleaned/straightened no refrigerator when told there was one no remote for the television Was told that could not make any promises on getting these things fixed as the person who takes care of these items would be leaving at 4pm and it was 3:50pm Will never stay here again or recommend.
The breakfast was not very good. The restaurant area was a mess. Jams bowl empty, fruit bowl empty, and cluttered. The bandaids as a solution over the peepholes on the door bring the entire hotel and sense of professionalism of the facility way down. There must be better solutions.
The service at the front desk
They moved us from room to room very abruptly and rudely. The power went out. They made us walk through a soaking wet hallway to our new room. Not a pleasant experience
Worst hotel ever!!!!
Worst service ever! Reserved a room with king & sofa bed, but got no sofa bed. Manager was very rude! Had to sleep 3 adults in 1 bed. No fresh towels for next day. Upon return to room, had to ask twice and took two hrs til we could take a shower with clean towels. WIFI did not work! Breakfast eggs & sausage ice cold. All dining tables dirty and no clean silverware and it was only 6:30. Very very disappointed!!!
This is a neglected property. The gen. Manager should feel lucky to still have a job. Hairs in the bed. Public bathrooms filthy and falling apart. Box almaden wine $6 a glass in the 70's disco bar
Reeked of smoke, thin walls, poor computer systems
Hallways and the single elevator reeked of smoke. We booked a king bed, but were given a room with two doubles. Front desk said they had nothing else available, and that the particular room we were given showed up in their systems as being a king-bed. Poor sound proofing -- could hear neighbors and people in the hallway very clearly in the early morning. Seems like a hotel that pours all its money into the event facilities (entrance, lobby, and conference rooms all very nice) but dedicates very little funds toward the actual rooms themselves.
This is an outdated Inn with poor beds and sheets. Cleanliness is so-so. With so many options nearby, we suggest you chose one of them. Everything definitely needs upgrading. Although, the A/C worked. But, then again, you get what you pay for. Can't beat $65 a night for just a place to lay your head after attending parties all weekend.
Friendly, accommodating staff. Easily accessible. Shopping and food very close by. Plentiful parking.
It feels pretty old. That said it's mostly pretty clean and doesn't feel "run down" insofar as it shows its age.
