Very nice, good restaurants
A newer hotel, quite contemporary without being shocking. Nice room reminiscent somewhat of IKEA. We stayed overnight between two 10+ hour international flights; I’d do it again in a heartbeat. Great staff!
The hotel is about a half-mile walk through a metal tube from Heathrow Terminal 4; it might be a challenge for someone with impaired mobility.
clean modern rooms, excellent service
Proximity to the airport was just what we needed before an early morning flight. Very friendly staff, a comfortable welcoming room and the choice of 3 eating places within the hotel made for a very pleasant stay.
Nothing worth putting into words.
This was a very short stay, got in about 9pm and left at 6am. It was perfectly serviceable and comparably priced hotel. Comfortable beds, quiet, average breakfast buffet.
My only complaint is that the website doesnt make it clear how far away from the majority of the airport it is. Heathrow is a *giant* airport. If youre not used to these or you've never been to LHR, plan extra time & expect to walk much more than you'd expect. I was traveling with my elderly father & booked this hotel because it was "close and convenient" and he didnt want to take the tube to a hotel. We came in via Terminal 3, and it was a good 30 minute hike (inc inter-airport shuttle). We didnt realize you could call for a cart from Terminal 4 to the hotel lobby & my dad had a lot of trouble walking the distance. The clerk at the hotel told us to plan 30-45 minutes to walk back to Term 3 in the morning, or 10 minutes via cab (20 pounds for a cab, 10 for an uber). The sad thing was, I specifically confirmed the hotel I had originally planned was only a 30 minute tube ride and 3 minute walk away from the stop, so joke was on my dad. Also, room service is quite expensive (which may be the case with all Hiltons or London hotels). Worked out to be about $60 for 2 hamburgers/fries and a cokes.
The front desk staff was incredible and accommodating to all of our needs. Rooms were very nice and everything worked perfectly well, very convenient it is right next to Heathrow.
Room wouldn't get warm. Bed hard as a rock. Shower gets water all over bathroom floor - no shower curtain, just some useless glass that covered about 1/3 of opening. Parking too expensive. Will never recommend this hotel or ever stay there again. Two thumbs down Hilton!
Bets place by LHR
Convienience for early departure and easy walk to the Heatheow Express. Very clean, modern and comfortable.
Airport hotel? Sort of...
Very impressed by the staff, who did everything to make my stay a pleasant one. Outstanding breakfast.
The Heathrow Hilton advertises itself as being on the airport campus. Well, only just: and after a long walk from terminal 2 to terminal 3 to take the Heathrow Express to terminal 4, followed by another long walk to the hotel, one might be forgiven for wondering if an off-campus hotel might not have been easier and more convenient to reach. It took me at least a half hour, bags in hand, to stagger from the Customs Hall to the hotel. Be aware!
My room needed updating
Location and breakfast
Room was in serious need of updating Kind of disappointing for Hilton. I was informed that some sections of the hotel have been renovated. Overall I'll rather pay a little extra and stay at the sofitel in Terminal 5.
The room was clean and like most other airport hotels.
The hotel is located a long ways from the international terminal which in itself isn't bad. The only way to get to the hotel though is to take a 14 dollar (round trip) bus from the terminal to the hotel. The bus only takes British pounds and doesn't take a credit card. This is the only major airport I think I've ever been to without hotel courtesy shuttles. Very disappointed with my 45 minute, 14 dollar commute to a hotel that's advertised as an airport hotel. The hotel also charges 20 dollars a day for internet. It's hard to believe the Motel 6 doesn't charge for internet and places like the Hilton still do.
Great staff, thorough and attentive. Very good if flying out of T4.
We were given a newly refurbished room. The food in the two restaurants we dined was great. We did not dine at the Oriental restaurants.
Everything a bit pricey. Listed as having an airport shuttle, however that is only to terminal 5. You must walk a long distance and take a train to get to other terminals. Hotel Shouldn't be listed as having a shuttle.
Since we are Hilton Honors, we enjoyed the executive lounge greatly. The room was small but beautiful with all the amenities. I loved the "photo" above the bed, which was a design cast on canvas by a light. The access to Heathrow was key. We would definitely stay here again.
Location for late arrival and subsequent early departure from T4
Had pre-paid premium rate for good room for 2 nights. At check-in no rooms were available and I was offered what amounted to a tiny single bed room with damaged furniture. Was given free breakfast although they knew my check out would be too early. Staff were uncaring and I had prepaid so it was "take it or leave it". I will never stay here again.
Missed my flight from Terminal 4 and this hotel is very near Terminal 4 of Heathrow Airport. You can walk across a enclosed bridge, as if you enter the hotel from the airport itself. Very convenient if you miss your flight there.
Room great, staff helpful, appreciated the facility to allow access to British Airways.
Ordered room service - soup / sandwich. Not un-expensive - pretty disgusting - tasteless and most ingredients out a can. Given we'd travelled round the uk and 3 countries in Europe and not once received canned soup - didn't quite expect it at the Hilton - was expecting something of better quality and homemade.
The main factor was its easy access to Heathrow Terminal 4, but I enjoyed the efficiency of the service and the comfort, and helpfulness of staff. Prices in the restaurant for dinner were high.
The room was clean and the hotels location was excellent for the airport
The hotel was poorly managed with regards to ensuring guests were given correct information on facilitiy opening hours, the way in which the hotel add items to your bill from the mini bar even when you have not used them gave a feel that they were only after your money, we didn't find the staff very helpful when making a complaint.
their willingness to accomodate my late check-in
breakfast prices were quite steep
arrived at 11.30p.m. no problem with check in. linked to T4 by a walkway which was why we chose it as husband was leaving early next morning. Didnt really use the faiclities. Double glazing extremely efficient. Very quiet
