This hostel ticks all the boxes. The hostel is well run with friendly and efficient staff, who are willing to chat and help in every way possible. The 6 bunk bed room I stayed in was large and the bunks are strong and have curtains fitted. There's a great breakfast and in the evening free soup and sandwiches!. The place has a warm and light atmosphere with ample space. There are many common areas and a TV room. I can't recommend the Central hostel highly enough for those visiting Lisbon.

Hostel is nice and clean. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The hostel is social, but not a party hostel - pretty quiet by midnight. There is free food all the time. Breakfast is good enough and soup each night is delicious and comes with some kind of extra eats. The location is a little away from the center of tourism, but this is great as the area is quieter and calmer.
The only bad thing about this hostel is that the bathrooms - that is, toilets and showers - are a little cramped. But they are clean.

Bright yellow street light comes inside the room. It would be great to have a thick curtain on room 102 exterior window
