  • Kun lennät Helsingistä Lissaboniin, saavut Humberto Delgadon lentokentälle (Aeropuetro Humberto Delgado Lisboa), joka sijaitsee 7 kilometrin päässä Lissabonin keskustasta, eli Baixasta. Lentokentällä on kaksi terminaalia, joista Helsingin lennot saapuvat normaalisti terminaaliin 1, mutta lopullinen terminaali on hyvä tarkistaa omasta matkalipusta.
  • Edullisimmin pääset lentokentältä Lissabonin keskustaan metrolla, joka vie suoraan lentoasemalta Saldanha Cityn liikekeskukseen noin 15 minuutissa. Saldanha Citystä on hyvät metroyhteydet ympäri kaupunkia. Metromatkustajien on ostettava Viva Viagem -matkakortti, jonka hinta on noin 0,50 €. Matkaliput voit ladata kortille, ja kertalippu maksaa noin 1,45 €. Matkakortin voit ostaa lentoaseman lippuautomaatista. Kortti käy myös julkista liikennettä operoivan Carrisin keltaisissa busseissa, joista moni linjaa ajaa Lissabonin keskustaan lentokentän kautta. Bussien aikataulut ovat kuitenkin epäsäännöllisiä ja kyytiin pääsee vain käsimatkatavaroiden kanssa. Paikallisbussit sopivat parhaiten matkustajille, jotka matkustavat kevyen matkavarustuksen kanssa.   • Aerobus-lentokenttäbussit sopivat paremmin kansainvälisille matkailijoille. Aerobus-linjojen bussit ovat tilavia ja niihin voi nousta myös isojen matkalaukkujen kera. Aerobus-linjoja on yhteensä kaksi, ja linjat vievät eri puolille Lissabonia noin 20–40 minuutin väliajoin. Kertalipun hinta on noin 4 € ja meno-paluulipun hinta noin 6 €.   • Taksit lentokentältä Lissabonin keskustaan maksavat noin 15 euroa per suunta. Yötaksa on päivähintoja kalliimpi, ja ison matkatavaramäärän kanssa matkustavilta saatetaan periä lisähintaa. Miinukset: "Everything went wrong. The flight arrived 40 minutes late and I missed my connecting flight because they closed the gate before I could get there. As a result, when I asked both airlines involved (Brussels Air and Portugal Air (TAP) what to do, each airline blamed the other airline for the problem and each said it was my problem to fix. After speaking with ten people and begging them to make the problem right for a problem I did not create, they finally issued me a new ticket but I had to wait 24 hours for the new flight to leave. It was a total breakdown in communication and organization and customer support and problem resolution on the part of the airlines and the airport. I never want to fly these airlines again and never want to take a flight with connections."

Miinukset: "I tried to book exit row seats online. The seat map would not load, so I called the number suggested. Had a long a confusing conversation with a woman who did not seem to understand what an exit row seat was. I booked seats, but my card was never charged and I received no email confirmation. I tried the website again and this time saw the seat map. Completely misleading. The real exit row is the row IN FRONT of the marked exits on the map. I chose the row which looked like an exit row, and on boarding found that I was in the row behind the exit row. The flight attendant took a photo of my seat map print out, because it was so confusing!!! No wonder the woman I spoke to sounded like she didn't know what she was talking about - she was following the seat map too!"
Miinukset: "Very disappointing, Lufthansa airline sold my return ticket to another customers with out notifying me, so i’m stuck in here now and i have to find another ticket. And of course the flight is not refundable."
Plussat: "We got warm washcloths to refresh our hands and face. A full bottle of water to save as we needed, followed immediately by a beverage service and pretzels. Dinner of either fish or chicken was delicious, and included bread, cheese, salad, and dessert. Followed by additional beverage services, a mushroom calzone and finally Belgium chocolates. The crew was friendly and entertainment on personal monitors was very good. This was the best overseas flight I have had in several years."

Miinukset: "There was a long-ish and poorly organised layover in Luanda, which involved the flight crew individually identifying the carry-on luggage on the plane so as to ensure no one who had disembarked had left anything behind. This was literally done bin by bin by a crew member shouting down the aisle, "Who's is this brown bag? Who has a grey Longchamp!!!???" This is not something I have ever seen before and it took ages. The cabin also became very hot during the layover, which cause a 40 minute delayed arrival in Kinshasa."

Flight took 2.5 hours and the Fog cleared long before we landed so there was no need to wait 1 hour in the airplane where we had NO leg space at all. As compensation they could at leased given us coffee for free and not have to buy for a bloody expensive high price."

The entire flight, the crew was selling something and you could not pass in aisle or even use toilet for half the fight. No entertainmrnt on a flight of 4.5 hrs and this was not supposed to be a low cost flight."

The steward didn't agree to take a gymnastics hoop to the aircraft, despite its being super light. By the way, the inbound flight the hoop was taken into the aircraft; 3. We (family of 3) were seated separately, what made a huge stress to our small daughter. 4. There were no AC socket in Brussels airport (there were, but not charging) during transfer. 5. Our baggage was not delivered, which is very unpleasant :("

In the end, I wasn't able to purchase it ahead of time and we had to pay $49 at the airport. I feel entitled to a reimbursement of the difference between the booking online price of $15 and the $49 I paid."

Miinukset: "Inbound connection from Tokyo was late (1 hour) but this flight BRU-MAN was also 1 hour late, so got to the gate easily in time for boarding only to find my seat and boarding pass had been cancelled! Poor management of the situation - they don't check whether the connection is *actually* OK, just use the timetable. Poor real-time handling of the situation. This flight is sometimes subcontracted out to WDL who fly various other flights for SN throughout the day, and so any delay elsewhere in Europe can delay this flight. Baggage priority ignored for Star Gold. Missed train connection on arrival in UK. Due to the above problems. In-flight staff OK but ground crew seem disorganised."

I was trying to load up my ticket and the lady at the baggage hall was losing her patience with me a bit, for not printing the ticket out. Also I was charged €40 to check my bag in as I thought I already checked it in online, before I came over here. It's a sad way to end this trip, as its a beautiful island."

Me and my husband tried to do the check-in online but the system was out off service and than when we tried again, 2 hour before departure, it was no possible"

Miinukset: "Short version: Avoid Ryanair like you would avoid Herpes. I paid for baggage but got charged again. Desk agent was rude. There was no information provided about what gate or where the gate was. I paid for fast track security and didn't get it. It only got worse from there. Never ever fly Ryanair!"

Miinukset: "Confusing baggage policy. You are told to take your bag to the gate where it will be taken and put in the hold. It is not made clear that this bag must go through security with you and therefore cannot contain liquids. We had to jettison a lot of toiletries. When we got to the gate we were allowed to take the bags on anyway. What is the point of this?"
Miinukset: "I paid for my seats and the ask me to change next to the emergency door, something that i would never choose."
Plussat: "My own boarding was went ok"
Miinukset: "What was the most annoying part of the whole experience was the fact that they were other passangers on there school trip. Yes they are just still kids, but from the very start of them boarding, thats when everything just went downhill. The kids was just screaming, shouting, and sprinting into there sits. Even after being told to quite and calm down, all them were still screaming and shouting at the top of there vioces throughtout and non-stop for the whole flight (even after landing and getting into the bus). The worst fact of all is that, there was just far too many of them for everyone to handle (by the flight crew, and the trachers). It was also the first thing in the morning so it’s not like everyone would most likely be well rested already."

Miinukset: "They never gave me a printed boarding pass when I checked in and then once boarding the actual plane outside of WiFi range they made a big deal about not being able to show them a boarding pass. I had already shown two people before. If they needed to see it before boarding the plane then they should mandatorily give you a printed pass."

Miinukset: "1156.64 When we arrived at the airport the clerk at the desk would not look up from her computer to help us, we went to the window and she continued to refuse to check us in. When we handed her our passports she bluntly stated that it was too late to check in because it was 10:00 and the cutoff was 9:55. We asked if she could make an exception due to our issues with transportation or if she was able to help us rebook a flight and she said no. We had already paid for this flight and had checked in baggage and paid separately for the two bags and she told us there were no Ryan air flights for our destination. We promptly rebooked with another airline at a separate airport and consequently had to pay for another form of transportation to the airport as well as a new flight and another two checked pieces of baggage. I have traveled all over Europe, the US, Canada, Central America etc. and never in my years of travel have I felt so belittled and disrespected especially considering I was a paying, respectful and loyal customer. It goes without saying I will never use this airline again and will be strongly recommending other airlines to friends and family."

Miinukset: "Being split all over the aircraft because we refuse to give in to Ryanair extortion to squeeze more money out of us. Clearly would have been able to seat us all together. Won't buy another coffee or food until this policy changes."

Miinukset: "Their website is difficult to navigate, if you are overseas and do not have access to a printer, they will charge 15 Euros to print your boarding pass at the airport. The seats cannot be reclined. It is not inexpensive, as they will make you believe, a charge of 40 euros per checked baggage.... you are better off taking a regular airline, sometimes."

Miinukset: "There's not a lot of space for your legs but that's an airplane problem and not really ryanair only. They took off the little basket space from the seat in front of you so you have nowhere to put away your stuff which is very annoying. You have ton pay for everything on board, absolutely nothing is free and it's ridiculously expensive."
Miinukset: "They took my carry on away and then we had to wait for all of the bags to come through. Not fair"
Miinukset: "The difficulty getting my boarding confirmed. It worked in the end but it took a long time and it was frustrating."
Plussat: "Flight itself was pretty standard and cabin crew were very friendly."
Miinukset: "I've never met a more unprofessional individual in any line of work than the Ryanair gate agent boarding our flight in Rome. She was extremely rude to everyone and even berated several passengers, including those who didn't speak English. Multiple passengers who witnessed this asked for her name so that they could report her to the airline... she refused to give it. Such conduct should not be tolerated by any company, but is especially poor form for one like an airline in the customer service business. I'll make every effort to avoid Ryanair in the future just because of her."

Miinukset: "The check in crew forced me to check a bag that I was able to put under my seat on a previous Ryan air flight two days before this trip. They would not even let me talk to cabin crew to see if there was room. I eventually took out all my valuable belongings and brought them with me onto the plane. After having a very rude interaction with two different people. One even said "don't tell me how to do my job." Then when I got on the plane there was plenty of room for my backpack. The floor was incredibly dirty with chips on all over the ground. We then sat on the tarmac for half an hour. I could not believe how rude the check in crew was, they would not even listen to me explain that I had put the exact same backpack under my seat two days ago. Completely absurd."

Miinukset: "I've had three flights with Ryan Air this week and every one has been so unorganized and stressful. The boarding process is slow, and a lot of getting in line and standing for long periods of time. Even with open seats they don't boom groups together (when they book at same time). I assume to get more money to switch but this just leads to masses of people trying to swap seatings during boarding. The landings on all three were rough, I fly a lot and have never had an issue and these landings were concerning. One they came into fast and had to pull up quickly to avoid landing."

Plussat: "They wouldn't let me get my boarding pass 1 hour before my flight because they said I was late. Absurd. Poor customer service. Not professional at all."

Miinukset: "Paid €80 for 2 bags, then the agent told me that I could have saved over 50% if I had prepaid. It would have been nice to know that. The seats were incredibly cramped, even though I am not tall. The plane sat on the runway for about 40 minutes."

Plussat: "That it will be the last time we fly RyanAir. Theur motto low vist simple isca joke only if u have no luggage and do mot eat. Everything is nickle dime even pay forcacdrink of water. Even though purchased priorityvboarding and wheel chair assist, we were coerced to check our rollers and the chair assist was late and deplorable! The crew spends more time hawking food duty free and lotto and does not even collect waste. No flight info at gate. Aisle passenger allowed to have a bag that did not fit underr seat between his legs whole flight in controvention to safety rules!"

Miinukset: "No reminder was sent prior tothe flight to remind us that online check in was mandatory. Never did Ryanair inform us that failure to comply is subject to a substantial monetary penalty. In our case the charge for not checking in online represented about three times the original ticket price! Long lines at the gate, long lines outside, no jet bridge, and forced to check carry on luggage. This was our first and LAST Ryanair flight."
