Generic and mediocre airport hotel, not great value
Convenient to the airport
There is no hot tub just a regular pool (we felt misled on that). The food at the bar is just bar food, nothing more. Even the pieces of fruit are a la carte which doesn't feel very welcoming. One of the towels in the bathroom was stained. It took 3 tries to reach them on the phone to ask a simple question. Messed up reservation, giving us two queen beds instead of king.
Good nights rest
Room was clean and comfortable
Go-to Choice near CYUL
Location is great for business near the airport. Reseved parking lot onsite and easy access to highway. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of space. Staff was helpful. I didn’t use it but the airport shuttle seemed convenient.
Parking gate only worked half the time. During the week, bartender is also the cook. The acceptably smaller food menu was cut to two or three options because they were out or didn’t know how to make meals. Morning breakfast was $12, not the best value.
Clean and fresh
Rooms were clean
Next to the airport and has shuttle
Breakfast simple but ok
Pool not functional, airport shuttle slow
Liked: comfy beds, dark window shades, large shower
Pool didn't work and the staff didn't tell us about the alternative option to use the pool at the Sheraton until the second time we talked to them. Also, the airport shuttle was supposed to come every 15 mins but it was at least 30 -- those extra minutes at the airport could have saved us a lot of stress.
Clean, quiet, comfortable
Aloft was surprisingly quiet given its proximity to the runways. Planes overhead were very noisy outside but couldn't be heard inside. Room was exceptionally clean and bed was very comfortable. The hotel provides long term parking cheaper than the airport lots so it's a good choice if you need to leave a car for a few days.
comfortable, clean, close to airport, 24hr airport shuttle
There is no restaurant
The staff were great. We stayed in a king room with "oversized" shower. It wasn't oversized, but it was nice. Room was great: modern decor and nicely furnished. The airport shuttle comes every 15 minutes during "prime time" and by request in the middle of the night, if required. Leaving the hotel on a shuttle, I was through security and at my gate in 20 minutes. Perfect.
There are ice buckets in the rooms, but no ice machines in the hotel. The front desk has some little bags of ice available, which is strange but okay. N.B.: There is no restaurant at this hotel. This was not at all clear to me when I looked at their website. We stayed here because we had an early morning flight. We did not have a rental car and had planned to have dinner at the hotel. The food options were disappointing. There is no restaurant, just a very basic bar. The bar has some frozen food (chicken fingers, pizza, coconut shrimp, etc.) that the bartender reheats in a toaster oven and possibly a microwave. We ate chicken fingers and shrimp, and they were rather pathetic. Along with three drinks between the two of us, the bar bill came out to >$90. The food and drinks were not worth anything close to this - this is not good value.
It was a comfortable, layed back, relaxing atmosphere. The King size bed and bedding was comfortable.
Can't tell much since we arrived at midnight & lef
Nearness to airport
The bathroom door was broken
The setup of the room
Cool room, great amenities!
The location was ideal.....design unique! Also, I appreciated the convenience of the self-serve area.
