Hotel Do Colégio

The staff was super friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Beautiful decorated. Absolutely worth staying! And the hotel is situated next to the most beautiful church i’ve ever seen (on the inside).

Some minor malfunctions in the badroom: broken hairdryer, door didnt close but that was nothing in comparison to the excellent stay.

The restaurant facility served complimentary breakfast, which was a typical European style buffet with local fruits, breads, meats, cheeses, along with eggs, protein, and all the other normal accompaniments. The evening meal was a typical Azorean restaurant menu with a nice selection of well prepared dishes, good wine list, and adequate bar. Prices were moderate, food flavorful, and service was very good.

The shower/tub could have been a little larger, but is typical of most European bath facilities.

It's probably the only place I've ever been were the service exceeds by far the expectations. Top service , common spaces really cute and the room fit for purpose

The hotel is 100% a 4 star hotel with very good facilities and a super comfortable and clean room. Breakfast is spectacular, with plenty of variety and traditional products to complement a superb breakfast. Note that the hotel's newly-run restaurant is probably one of the best places to dine on the island (from the food to the friendliness and professionalism of the staff).

As a less positive point parking is limited but we never had problems parking near the hotel.
